Irresistible Features
These are the features one would commonly use:
Dual pane of multi tabs of files! Layout/folders remembered of course : )
Queued (+robust) file transfer.
Find files or folders.
Mass file rename. Regular expressions supported.
Navigate compressed archives.
And a mind boggling huge list of other features! Which you may never use, haha.
Nevertheless there are still updates adding more features as time passes.
Definitely worth getting and a useful tool in any software fellow's arsenal.
Quirks
Missing/disabled 'Map Network Drive' (shortcut: ALT-L, M): this command sometimes goes missing/disabled. This can be very frustrating and bewildering.
Solution: switch to a normal folder and the option will be back. This is because the command is disabled whenever the active tab is in some place where well~ 'map network drive' is not allowed... like: Desktop, viewing contents of an archive. Ideally, this shouldn't have been the case as mapping drive doesn't really have anything to do with the active tab - which doesn't switch to the newly mapped drive anyway.
Find Files and Folders feature: if you make multiple searches, each pops up a search results window of its own. If you attempt to press ESC to cancel the search in any one of them, you will receive a weird warning about catastrophe! - Don't really know if catastrophe ensues.
